This Privacy Policy governs how we handle your information when you use the ActiveLead platform (the "Service"). ActiveLead is a product by LeadCRM. LeadCRM ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

Definitions: Throughout this Privacy Policy, "LeadCRM", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the Service. The "Service" refers to the ActiveLead platform and all related software, features, and functionality provided by LeadCRM. LeadCRM operates as a sole proprietorship or unincorporated business entity unless and until a formal business entity is established.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

• Register for an account: Email address, display name, and password

• Contact support: Name, email address, and any information you include in your message
• Update your profile: Any changes you make to your account information

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

We and our service providers automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

This information is collected by us directly and also by our partners (Google Analytics, Vercel) who provide services necessary for the app to function. Data collected by partners is governed by their respective privacy policies.

2.3 Payment Information

Payment information is collected and processed securely by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. See our Service Providers page for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

We use Google Cloud Services (including Firebase) for data storage, which provides enterprise-grade security, redundancy, and compliance standards. Your data benefits from the same security infrastructure used by Google for their own services.

While we implement appropriate security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means and the highest standard services to protect your information.

Note: We do not use end-to-end encryption. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, but it can be accessed by our service providers as necessary to operate the Service.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

6.1 Access Your Data

You can access, view, and export all your data at any time through the Service. Go to Account → Delete Account tab and click "Export CSV" to download your complete data.

6.2 Update Your Information

You can update your account information (email, display name, preferences) at any time through Account → Profile or Account → Preferences.

6.3 Delete Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your leads, notes, and account information from our systems. See our Data Export & Delete page for complete details about what is deleted and what may remain.

6.4 GDPR Rights (EU Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectify inaccurate data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restrict processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to object to processing

7. Cookies and Tracking

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 16 (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). In Ontario, Canada, the legal age is 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at info@activelead.appand we will delete such information promptly.

9. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. We also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When you delete your account, we delete your user data, leads, and associated content from our systems. However, our service providers (including Google Cloud Services, Stripe, and analytics providers) may retain certain data according to their own data retention policies. For example, Stripe may retain payment transaction records for legal and compliance purposes, and analytics providers may retain aggregated usage data. We do not control these retention periods. Some information may also be retained in backup systems for a limited time or as required by law. 10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers (Google Cloud Services, Stripe, Vercel) operate. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country.

We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including the use of standard contractual clauses and other legal mechanisms where applicable.

Limitation: While we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected during international transfers, we cannot guarantee that data protection laws in other jurisdictions will provide the same level of protection as the laws in your country of residence. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your jurisdiction, subject to the safeguards described above.
